YOGA FOR TODDLERS
The benefits of yoga have no age boundaries: I provide parent and toddler classes in Bristol where mums, dads, carers, aunties, uncles, grannies, all are welcome!
Parent and child yoga gives you the space to relax and enjoy the practice alongside your little one, providing a lovely opportunity to bond with each other, connect to the body and breathe.
Yoga can help children (and adults!) to relax and even sleep better so come along and find ways to calm and settle together.
WHAT IS 'TODDLER YOGA?'
We’ll explore yoga poses to develop strength, balance, and coordination and also learn how the breath can be used to calm ourselves.
These classes are a chance to discover yoga playfully through stories, games and song and every class closes with a mini relaxation (savasana). All the while providing a space gain confidence and develop their creative self-expression.
I run safe, accessible parent and toddler yoga sessions in Bristol, which are listed below. No previous experience is required of yoga and everyone is welcome! The age range recommended for these classes is 2-4 years, with baby siblings coming free: first toddler £6, second toddler £3.
Don't worry if you're running late! I expect a certain amount of chaos in these sessions, and whether your toddler wants to play, try a tree pose or just lie on the ground, everything is acceptable.
