A brain booster for memory and focus

As we steep into autumn with the beautiful sunshine and changing colours, I find myself less inclined to sit on my laptop and work.
To be honest, I have always aimed to NOT have a desk job, but as my business grows and changes, I now need to focus for longer periods. At a desk. And at a laptop!
We know that yoga is so much more than the poses, the breathing techniques, and the yoga Nidras. Yoga is a philosophy by which we can live our lives.
But I love to also see yoga as a toolkit that brings us back home. And the practices can aid us in our daily life in so many ways.
This practice is the one is one I keep coming back to.
Humming.
Benefits of Humming
Long slow breath out, promoting CO2 in our bodies and driving cerebral blood flow (to your brain). This is a huge help in aiding with focus, calm and giving our brains a little boost.
Exhale = stress reduction and vagus nerve calming
Vibration of humming produces Nitric Oxide in the nose = better circulation in the body
So try it. 3 long, slow hummmmmmms. And notice how you feel!
Sending love, Tash
